Help support the next generation of youth artists and cultural workers!
EastSide Arts Alliance is a collective of artists and community organizers of color based in the San Antonio district of East Oakland. Founded in 1999, our mission is to unite art with activism for community empowerment and cultural development.
We were recently awarded funding from the city of Oakland’s Fund for Children and Youth (OFCY) program. We are raising $50,000 in matching funds to fully support our youth artists and afterschool programs. Our youth programs, Neighborhood Arts, Beats & Flows, GIRL Project, and Sistema Africanx-Indigenx, make space for young artists to experience varying modalities like graffiti skills, mural design, lyricism, music production, dance, diasporic drumming, and so much more all with trusted local community artists.
Your donations will support artist apprenticeships, programming, and basic needs support for our youth artists and their families.
